Motherland is a metaphor for the savior resurrection myths. It has a critical perspective of our world and Deals with human betrayals. In the film, David (refers to the savior) regained consciousness from coma. He leaves the hospital to find his mother but she is not there. His sister, "Sarah" doesn’t give him a clear answer to their mother's absence. Eventually, "Djalal" (as Dajjal) tells him his mother is dead. However, it’s not the truth but David finds everything lost and nothing he can do as the savior because of his relatives' sins. But hope remains alive.
