  • HOW TO ENTER
    All Art, Images, Photography & Film should be submitted online through www.lifeart.org/kumbhmela. Simply log onto the website and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer or phone. When your submission has been completed, you will get an e-mail confirmation. Each submission must include: First Name Last Name Email Phone Number Location Category Image Title Image Description Link (in case of video or film) Optional Web adress Social media
  • ENTRY FEES
    All entries must include the appropriate entry fee in U.S. dollar or Indian Rupees currency. Art, Photography & NFT - Fee: $5 ( ₹ 390 Rupee) Short Film, WEB TV, New Media - Fee: $ 12 ( ₹ 950 Rupee) Feature Film, TV Series, Documentary - Fee: $18 ( ₹ 1400 Rupee) Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee. The Entry form/ Application will be considered only on receipt of art plus the respective entry fee. The submission fee is non-refundable. To help promote equal participation from artists worldwide, LifeArt Foundation offers discounted and waiver fees to selected artists - application available online. www.lifeart.org/fundation.

OTHER - Any art based on the concept of Kumbh Mela.
  • SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
    All artists must submit their work online. Digital files are required. Prints are not accepted. Links are required for Feature Film, TV Series, Documentary Short Film, New Media No signature, stamp or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry. POJECT INFO Description in language other than English must include English Translation. FILE SIZES Digital images submitted must be in Jpeg (JPG) format, and not exceed 15 MB per file. No changes to entry after payment has been made, entries cannot be altered. Individuals whose images are selected will be asked to provide a high resolution image. Please review your work carefully before finalizing payment.
  • ELIGIBILITY
    Contest is open for everyone. The competition is open to artists of all backgrounds and all levels, including - professionals and amateurs. We accept all forms of photography in digital methods Contest is open for everyone above the age 18. The art must be based on the concept of Kumbh Mela. All Art, Images, Photography & Film should be submitted online through www.lifeart.org/kumbhmela You are the sole owner and author of each Entry You have the right to make Your entry available to the site. You confirm that each person depicted in the entry has granted permission to be portrayed as shown. Any costumes, props or other materials used must be rented or borrowed with the permission of the owner, and all other relevant permissions must have been obtained. Entry does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity. Submission does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content. Submission does not contain any material that could constitute or encourage conduct which would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law. No entries which contain any commercial or political content that promotes any product, organization or service.
  • USAGE AND COPYRIGHT
    Copyright and all other rights remain of the artist. All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by LifeArt for marketing and promotional purposes including in any media such as exhibitions, print and digital media directly related to the LifeArt organization. USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the competition all entrants grant to LifeArt the right to publish and exhibit their photographs at the LifeArt events, publications, social media, website and the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution. Entrants whose art are one of the finalists grant to LifeArt the further rights to publish and exhibit their art in print, on their respective websites or in any other media. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses. While we make every effort to credit photographers, including in printed reproductions of their work, we cannot guarantee that every use of the photographs will include the photographers' names. The LifeArt partners or its members does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images.

This includes the competition screenings and the “Best Of” showcase. In addition, LifeArt has non-exclusive rights to repeat the showcases throughout the year for fundraising and promotion purposes. All ticket sales and online income are property of LifeArt and its affiliates. LEGAL By submitting to “LifeArt” you warrant, as sole and exclusive owner/s of all legal right and title thereto that you have absolute authority to submit the entry to the festival. You will indemnify and hold harmless LifeArt, and its judges, its sponsors and partners, its directors, staff, volunteers, individually and affiliates collectively, from and against all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses including legal expenses arising out of or in connection with any and all claims, including third party claims, based on films/videos/artworks submitted to LifeArt. LifeArt Organizers reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime. LifeArt reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any image uploaded that does not comply with the following requirements, even after the entry is submitted. ACCEPTANCE OF REGULATIONS By signing the entry form for LifeArt, the participant accepts, without reservation, the terms of the present regulations as stated in this document which constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the use of your project and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings regarding such subject matter. No amendment or modification of this agreement will be binding unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of LifeArt. You accept all terms & conditions

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi is a premier government-funded arts organization in India. It is an autonomous institution under the Union Ministry of Culture. It was established in the memory of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kapila Vatsyayan as its founding director

The IGNCA seeks to place the arts within the context of the natural and human environment. The fundamental approach of the Centre is all its work will be both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary.

 

The arts are here understood to comprise the fields of creative and critical literature, written and oral; the visual arts, ranging from architecture, sculpture, painting and graphics to general material culture, photography and film; the performing arts of music, dance and theatre in their broadest connotation; and all else in fairs, festivals and lifestyle that has an artistic dimension.
