Copyright and all other rights remain of the photographer! All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by LifeArt for marketing and promotional purposes including in any media such as exhibitions, print and digital media directly related to the LifeArt organization.




SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


All photographers must submit their work online. Digital files are required. Prints are not accepted. IDENTIFYING MARKS AND SIGNATURES No signature, stamp or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry. POJECT INFO Description in language other than English must include English Translation. FILE SIZES Digital images submitted must be in Jpeg (JPG) format, and not exceed 15 MB per file. *Individuals whose images are selected will be asked to provide a high resolution image. No changes to entry after payment has been made, entries cannot be altered. Please review your work carefully before finalizing payment.




RULES & TERM


LifeArt reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any image uploaded that does not comply with the following requirements, even after the entry is submitted on the Website.

  1. Contest is open for everyone above the age 18.
  2. All images should be submitted online through www.lifeart.org/indiart, We accept all forms of photography in digital methods.
  3. You are the sole owner and author of each entry.
  4. You have the right to make Your entry available to the site.
  5. You confirm that each person depicted in the entry has granted permission to be portrayed as shown. Any costumes, props or other materials used must be rented or borrowed with the permission of the owner, and all other relevant permissions must have been obtained.
  6. Submission does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content.
  7. Submission does not contain any material that could constitute or encourage conduct which would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.
  8. Each Entry does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.
  9. No entries which contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service.

  12. OWNERSHIP OF IMAGES: Copyright and all other rights remain by the photographer. All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by LifeArt for marketing and promotional purposes including in any media such as exhibitions, print and digital media directly related to the LifeArt organization.
  13. USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the competition all entrants grant to LifeArt the right to publish and exhibit their photographs at the LifeArt events, publications, social media, website and the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution. Entrants whose photographs are one of the Finalists grant to LifeArt the further rights to publish and exhibit their photographs in print, on their respective websites or in any other media. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses. While we make every effort to credit photographers, including in printed reproductions of their work, we cannot guarantee that every use of the photographs will include the photographers' names. The LifeArt partners or its members does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images.
  14. LifeArt Organizers reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime.

ENTRY FEES


All entries must include the appropriate entry fee in U.S. dollar and Indian rupees currency. The Entry Fee is $5 (INR 360) per photo submission. Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee. The Entry form/ Application will be considered only on receipt of photograph plus the respective entry fee. The submission fee is non-refundable.




HOW TO ENTER


All images should be submitted online through www.lifeart.org/indiart To register. Simply log onto the website and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer or phone. When your submission has been completed, you will get an e-mail confirmation.




ELIGIBILITY


The competition is open to photographers of all backgrounds and all levels, including - professionals and amateurs.

  1. The Photograph must be based on the concept of India Art.
  2. You confirm that each person depicted in the Entry has granted permission to be portrayed as shown. Any costumes, props or other materials used must be borrowed with the permission of the owner.

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi is a premier government-funded arts organization in India. It is an autonomous institution under the Union Ministry of Culture. It was established in the memory of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kapila Vatsyayan as its founding director

The IGNCA seeks to place the arts within the context of the natural and human environment. The fundamental approach of the Centre is all its work will be both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary.

 

The arts are here understood to comprise the fields of creative and critical literature, written and oral; the visual arts, ranging from architecture, sculpture, painting and graphics to general material culture, photography and film; the performing arts of music, dance and theatre in their broadest connotation; and all else in fairs, festivals and lifestyle that has an artistic dimension.
